For the past 15 years, Team Point Pleasant has proudly worked together to make meaningful improvements that have strengthened our community and helped make Point Pleasant the special place we’re all so proud to call home. We’re grateful for all we’ve accomplished together and look forward with excitement to the many wonderful things still to come.

WHAT WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED:

COMPLETED WITH GRANTS FROM THE STATE AND COUNTY - NOT LOCAL TAX DOLLARS

• Creation of the Boro Bucks Program in Partnership with the Chamber of Commerce

• Established the Outdoor Dining Ordinance, which many businesses have utilized

• Major Park Renovations in Turn Creating Inclusive Environments for All Children to be Able to Play and Make Memories

  • Dorsett Dock Warf and kayak launch

  • Riverfront Park and beach area

  • Heritage Park

• Updating of the Boro Information Technology

  • Created a new, complete, and updated Boro Website

  • Worked with the Police Department to get the Nixle Notifications up and running

  • Created social media pages on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep the public informed.

  • Applied for and received a grant to create a GIS Database for future use by Boro Employees and Residents

• Construction of Fallen Hero’s Memorial

• Pollinator Garden/Monarch Waystation

• Pedestrian Activated RRFB Installation

• Installed first-ever sidewalks the Entire Length of both Herbert’sville and River Roads Connecting to Riverfront Park Increasing Walkability for Our Residents

• Enacted Ordinance For Fair Share Housing

• Stabilized the Municipal Portion of Property Taxes

• Improved Vital Water & Sewer Infrastructure

• Modernized Tech for Point Pleasant PD w/ Paladin Drone

• Installation of New Boardwalk and Amenities at Riverfront Park

• Installation of Fishing Pier on Dorset Dock/Bay Ave

• Installation of Several Kayak Landing Points Through Town
